Plus-Size Hanbok Rental in Seoul: Measurements to Check Before Booking
Book by measurements and available garments, not an XL label. A shop advertising plus sizes may have only a few jackets in your preferred cut. A confirmed time slot does not automatically reserve a particular size or colour.

Send these details before paying
Send your visit date and time, height, chest and waist circumference in centimetres, and whether you want a skirt or trousers. For a long skirt, ask about the finished length and the shoes you plan to wear. Ask the shop which measurements it needs; do not convert your usual US, UK or EU label into a Korean size by guessing.
A useful message is: “I would like to visit on [date/time]. My height is [ ] cm, chest [ ] cm and waist [ ] cm. Which hanbok designs can fit these measurements? Can that size be held, and what is the total for four hours including an underskirt and basic hair?”
Keep the reply. If the shop cannot hold an outfit, arrive with a backup design and confirm the cancellation terms before purchasing a fixed voucher.
Check the complete outfit
Try sitting, lifting your arms and taking a normal step before leaving. Check that the jacket closes comfortably and the layers remain opaque in daylight. A wrap skirt does not establish that the jacket fits. Mention any layers you will wear underneath, especially in winter.

Does 4XL mean the same thing at every hanbok shop?
No. Shops use different labels and garment cuts. Send measurements in centimetres and ask about the exact jacket, skirt or trousers, plus availability for your visit.
